reading the newspaper "Il sole 24 ore" on April 30th you have the clear impression that Lazio is suffering from a severe case of split personality that sometimes prevails Dr. rationality. Jeckyll and sometimes irrationality prevails Mr. Hide.
On one side there was a great Lazio-2700 Dr. Jeckyll well with flourishing companies involved in organic farming and is about to launch an energy plan for the reduction of 28% of CO2 (the greenhouse) through energy conservation and developing renewable energy sources (wind and solar in particular). As if that was not enough, this virtuoso Lazio-dr Jeckill is starting to invest 40 million euro for a strategy that knows how to solve the waste problem by reducing them at source, waste collection door to door and 6 plants of quality compost.
the other hand, we have a fool-Lazio Mr Hide who is converting to the Central Coal Civitavecchia, which will produce an enormous amount of CO2 as well as a large number of patients and the economic collapse of the farms because pollution from nanoparticles. Moreover, also the second, terrifying, Lazio, Mr Hide, is preparing to build an unspecified number of incinerators. They, like coal, will have dramatic repercussions on the environment, population and economy.
The future is, therefore, more than uncertain: Lazio will prevail "good" or "bad"? Clearly, the coexistence is impossible, since the protection of environment, health and economy is incompatible with the combustion of coal and rifiuti.L 'only hope is a shock therapy to treat the poor Lazio draws to a sad fate. We can only hope that both science and policy to prescribe this treatment.
